Today, i finished reading a book i checked out from the library called, The House of the Scorpion, by Nancy Farmer. It was gooood. yeah i was bored and finished most of the book today. hmmm i'll just type in the description that's on the cover:

As Matt struggles to understand his existence, he is threatened by a sinister, grasping cast of characters, including El Patron's power hungry family. He is surrounded by dangerous body guards and by the mindless slaves of Opium, the brain deadend eejits who tiol in the poppy fields."
Basically, it's about a 140 year old man's clone who has to deal with humans hating him because he's different, and learning that his only purpose was to provide "extra parts" for the man he's a clone of so he can live longer. It was a good book.
