yay! I went and saw Return of the King! It was awesome. The movie is about 3hrs and 20 min long, but it doesn't seem that long. Maybe because of all the action and fighting. I thing it wouldn't have hurt if some of the fight scenes were shorter, but the movie was still good.
There weren't a whole whole lot of ppl in the theater, but that's good because I got a good set. I think it's becuase most ppl are out doing last minute shopping.
umm *spoilers*
The part toward the end of the movie where Legolas climbs up that war oliphant was hecka cool. lol, he climbed up using the arrows that were stuck in it's hide like a ladder. And after he takes out the oliphant and its drivers, he slides down its trunk as it collapses like a surfer, and then he lands on the ground like it was nothing. And Gimli is like gaping at him and says something like, "That still only counts as one!" haha, Gimli and Legolas were still keeping tally as to who will kill the most orcs. :P funny funny.
wooo and I love the giant eagles and when they took on the Nazgul. It reminded me of when in the 6th grade, we had to read The Hobbit and we had to draw a scene from the book. The giant eagles were in that book, so I drew an eagle. I should try to find that drawing. :P
It was so sad toward the end when Frodo and everyone leaves. Too bad they didn't show Aragorn and Arwen getting married. And i'm glad that the last words spoken in the movie are the same last words that are spoken in the book.
ah yes...so now I wonder if this movie will win an award. :D I hope so.

annnnd it's Christmas Eve. I think my sister and I will be able to open a present or two tonight. That's what we have always done every year...along with having our pics taken in front of the Christmas tree. Ok well, have a happy and safe christmas everyone!
