wow, today was a really stormy day. Lots of rain and lots of strong winds. @_@ Luckily, I didn't have to go to class in the morning because my econ class was cancelled for the day. yay! I really didn't want to drive in that storm. Tree branches were breaking off everywhere and flying all over the place. By the afternoon the storm calmed down a lot, which was good because I had to go to biology class by then. agghh but then when I got to the street going into the campus parking lot, I saw that the whole fricken middle part of the street was flooded. And I mean really flooded. So I was like, oh great -__- And I couldn't turn around and get out of the street because there was another car behind me. There were 2 cars ahead of of me, and they drove through the water, so I figured it might be alright if I did, too. I was so afraid that the car would just stall right in the middle of the water, but luckily everything went ok. phew.
At the end of the street, though, there were 4 or 5 cars that ppl were trying to jumpstart because I guess their cars stalled when they tried to drive through the water. essshhh. And then the whole parking area that's closer to the campus was all flooded, so I had to park far away. ehhh but that didn't really matter because I usually have to park far. the whole campus was a mess with broken tree branches and leaves. I'm really glad I didn't have to be out in the storm.
