Last night I went with my friend and saw The Grudge. But first we went to eat. She wanted to eat at this Korean restaurant that a friend took her to, but she didn't know exactly where it was. So her friend came along and ate with us too (haha, so she could give us directions on where the restaurant is at =P. haaaa u know, I didn't know that there were a bunch of Korean shops in this one area in the city I live in. O_o;;; I feel so..stupid that I didn't know.
So this Korean restaurant was totally Korean style and I was all "ohhhhhh cool cool!" Because I've never eaten in a Korean restaurant before^^; This place even had those tables where the customers cook the food that the waiters bring. But my back was too it so i couldn't watch the people who were eating there cook the food and see how they did it.
So we ordered three dishes: fried rice, some kind of hot spicy soup that i forget the name of, and this dish called seafood pancake. That last one was pretty good. The fried rice was..eh, ok. My friend's friend and I both like spicy stuff and we were both trying to convince my friend (who doesn't like spicy food) to eat some of the spicy kimchi, lol. She ate only a little bit and was all "ahh to spicy!" =P ahh OMG and there was this hecka cute Korean guy waiter!!!!! omg I was just like O_O! He looked like he could be an uhljjang, omg...dang.
HAHAAA anyways...I got soo full. We stopped by this Korean grocery store afterward because my friend's friend (I should use names or something huh? lol) wanted to buy some things. It was the first time I've been in a Korean grocery store. My friend saw this box of cracker stuff and she was all "oohh this is good! You should try it!" and she bought 3 boxes. lol, I don't know what it's called because I'm not very good at reading Korean. There was also this separate section that had Korean videos but we didn't go in there. Makes me wonder if they sell albums, too. omg I could just buy it there or find another Korean shop nearby that sells albums instead of buying them online! hehee now that I know there are all these Korean shops that I never knew about @_@ I have to go back and look someday.
okk so, we then went and saw The Grudge at 9:30 pm after dropping the friend off back home. The movie was a little bit scary...no one really screamed in the theater, lol.....
